curl The CURL session handle. $curl

Value Whether to use alternative user command. 1

Encoding The text encoding for text parameter.
Default is UTF-8.
Possible encoding names: ANSI, ISO-8859-1, Latin1, Mac, Native, UTF-8, DOS, Hex, Base64 or Windows. More listed in the FAQ. "UTF8" Optional

Result

Returns "OK" on success.

Description

Whether to use alternative USER command.
Pass a string which will be used to authenticate if the usual FTP "USER user" and "PASS password" negotiation fails. This is currently only known to be required when connecting to Tumbleweed's Secure Transport FTPS server using client certificates for authentication.
