Parameters

XML | The XML to process. Can be XML as text or the reference returned by XML.Parse function, so you can make several times queries to the XML without parsing it each time. |

Result
Returns number or error.
Description
Counts nodes with given name.Only the top nodes in the XML and not sub nodes down the hierarchy.
Does not count root node, only first level of children.
Examples
Query node count:
MBS( "XML.NodeCount"; "<Items><ID>1</ID><ID>3</ID><ID>5</ID></Items>"; "ID")
Example result: 3
