Window.RemoveMenu

Removes the menu on a window.

Parameters

Parameter Description Example

WindowRef Window Reference is the unique OS level window ID. You can obtain this by using the Window.FindByTitle or Window.FindByIndex functions. Pass zero to access the frontmost window. 0

Mode Can be 1 to remove menu entries instead of whole menu.
That may be more permanent and allows you to get back invisible menu when you switch to layout mode and back.
Default value 0 unassigns menu from Window. 1

Removes the menu on a window.
You can use this function to remove the FileMaker menu bar.

Remove menu:

Clear menu entries:

$h = MBS("Window.FindByTitle"; "FileMaker Pro Advanced")
