Window.Fade

Fades window in or out.

Parameters

Parameter Description Example Flags
WindowRef Window Reference is the unique OS level window ID. You can obtain this by using the Window.FindByTitle or Window.FindByIndex functions. Pass zero to access the frontmost window. 0
fadeIn Pass 1 to fade in or 0 for fade out.
NoAnimation Whether to avoid animation. Pass 1 to disable animation. Default is 0 to allow animation. 0 Optional
Duration The duration in seconds. Can be a value between 0.1 and 5.0. 0.5 Optional

Result

Returns OK or error.

Description

Fades window in or out.

On Windows fading child windows does not work currently.

Examples

Fade out:

Set Variable [ $r ; Value: MBS( "Window.Fade"; 0 /* current window */; 0 /* fade out */; 0; 1 ) ]

Fade in:

Set Variable [ $r ; Value: MBS( "Window.Fade"; 0 /* current window */; 1 /* fade in */; 0; 1 ) ]
