Window.DisableScrollbars

Disables the scrollbars in a FileMaker window.

WindowRef Window Reference is the unique OS level window ID. You can obtain this by using the Window.FindByTitle or Window.FindByIndex functions. Pass zero to access the frontmost window. 0

Result

Returns "OK" on success.

Description

Disables the scrollbars in a FileMaker window.
This can stop users from scrolling.
FileMaker may reset this whenever it thinks it needs to reset it. Like with moving to other window or selecting another record.

Examples

Looks up window reference for the window named test and disables scrollbars there:

MBS("Window.DisableScrollbars"; MBS("Window.FindByTitle"; "test"))

Disables scrollbars on front window:

MBS("Window.DisableScrollbars")
