Encoding | The text encoding for text parameter. Default is native. Possible encoding names: ANSI, ISO-8859-1, Latin1, Mac, Native, UTF-8, DOS, Hex, Base64 or Windows. More listed in the FAQ. |

Result
Returns encoded text.
Description
Encode a byte string.Please check what text encoding you want to use. Especially what the software processing the hex string expects.
A byte string here is a text string with byte numbers like this: "65 66 67" which as text would be "ABC".
Examples
Encode bytes as UTF-8:
MBS( "Text.EncodeToBytes"; "Hello World"; "utf8" )
Example result: "72 101 108 108 111 32 87 111 114 108 100"
Encode some emojies as UTF-8:
MBS( "Text.EncodeToBytes"; "🍎 🍓 🍒"; "utf8" )
Example result: 240 159 141 142 32 240 159 141 147 32 240 159 141 146
