Parameters

Parameter Description Example
Command The command reference number gained with SQL.NewCommand. $Command
Param The parameter name or ID. Pass number for ID, a text with parameter name or the index with # prefix. e.g. "#0" for first parameter. "1"

Result

The parameter type or error message.

Description

Returns parameter data type.

The parameter data type can be: Bool, Short, UShort, Long, ULong, Double, Numeric, DateTime, Interval, String, Bytes, LongBinary, LongChar, BLob, CLob, Cursor, SpecificToDBMS or unknown.

Examples

Query data type of first parameter:

MBS( "SQL.GetParamDataType"; $Command; "#0" )
