The date as text.
Description
Returns the date the plug-in was compiled.Useful for determining if when the currently installed plug-in was released.
See Plugin.CompileDate to get a FileMaker date instead of a text.
Format of this text is "mmm DD YYYY" with month as three letter text in English.
Examples
Get the Compile Date and Time:
$r = MBS("CompileDate") & " " & MBS("CompileTime")
Get year:
GetAsNumber(Middle(MBS( "CompileDate" );7;6))
Remind to update plugin:
If [ GetAsNumber(Middle(MBS( "CompileDate" );7;6)) < Year ( Get(CurrentDate )) and Month ( Get(CurrentDate )) > 3 ]
Show Custom Dialog [ "Your MBS Plugin could be updated”. ; "It's spring and you use plugin from last year?" ]
