**MBS**( **"WindowsOCR.RecognizeFile";** /\* Scans the specified image for text. \*/  
**$OCR**; /\* The reference number of the ocr engine. \*/   
**$Path**) /\* The native file path to the file to use.e.g. "C:\\Test\\test.jpg" \*/ 

### Parameters

| Parameter | Description | Example |

| OCR | The reference number of the ocr engine. | $ocr |
| Path | The native file path to the file to use. | "C:\\Test\\test.jpg" |

### Result

Returns OK or error.

### Description

Scans the specified image for text.  
We will ask Windows to load the image from the image file and then run OCR.  
  
Windows supports file formats including JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP and HEIF.
