| StreamRef | The reference to the midi stream. You create those with PortMidi.OpenInput or PortMidi.OpenOutput and finally close them with PortMidi.Close. | $stream | |

Result
Returns OK or error.
Description
Sends a raw message.This allows you to encode your own message data like this: status + data1 * 256 + data2 * 65536 + data3 * 16777216.
You can send this way also 4 byte messages by including a third data item.
