List.MatchesPrefix

Finds list entries which have a given prefix text.

**MBS**( **"List.MatchesPrefix";** /\* Finds list entries which have a given prefix text. \*/  
**$List**; /\* The list of texts to search.e.g. "Hello" \*/   
**$Text**; /\* The text to find.e.g. "Hello" \*/   
**$NoReturnEnding**) /\* Optional; Pass 1 to have no extra newline character on the end of the returned list. Default is 0 to include one to easily concat lists.e.g. 1 \*/ 

### Parameters

| NoReturnEnding | Pass 1 to have no extra newline character on the end of the returned list. Default is 0 to include one to easily concat lists. | 1 | Optional |

### Result

Returns new list or error.

### Description

Finds list entries which have a given prefix text.  
Comparison is case insensitive.  
### Examples

Finds matching prefixes:

 MBS ( "List.MatchesPrefix"; "Hello¶www¶World"; "w" )
