GMImage.Contrast

Contrast image (enhance intensity differences in image).

Parameters

Parameter Description Example
ImageRef The image reference number. 1
sharpen The sharpen value. An integer number, either 0 or 1. 1

Result

Returns "OK" on success.

Description

Contrast image (enhance intensity differences in image).
Enhances the intensity differences between the lighter and darker elements of the image. Set sharpen to a value other than 0 to increase the image contrast otherwise the contrast is reduced.

Examples

Changes contrast:

# load images...
Set Variable [ $Image ; Value: MBS( "GMImage.NewFromContainer"; test::Input) ]
# change constrast
Set Variable [ $r ; Value: MBS( "GMImage.Contrast"; $Image; 1) ]
# and save to container
Set Field [ test::Output ; MBS( "GMImage.WriteToPNGContainer"; $Image; "test.png") ]
# free memory
Set Variable [ $r ; Value: MBS( "GMImage.Release"; $Image) ]
