Verifies the digital signature.

Parameters

Parameter Description Example

ECKey The reference number for the key. $Key

Data The hex encoded data. $hash

SignatureData The hex encoded signature. $sig

Result

Returns OK or error.

Description

Verifies the digital signature.
Returns OK on success. Returns error if data, signature and public key don't belong together.
We highly recommend to use a hashed value for the data parameter, e.g. use Hash.SHA512 function to get a 512bit hash for your data.
