Addressbook.NewGroup

Result

Returns ID for new group.

Description

Creates a new group.
This group has no ID assigned until you save it to the addressbook. So the plugin returns a special ID where the plugin knows that when you change the group, you refer to the new group.
Address book item reference numbers are starting at 26000 and counting up for each new item.

Examples

Create group and save changes:

$groupID = MBS( "Addressbook.NewGroup" )
$r = MBS( "Addressbook.record.SetValueForProperty"; $groupID; "GroupNameProperty"; "Friends" )
$r = MBS( "Addressbook.addRecord"; $groupID )
$r = MBS( "Addressbook.save" )
